With a properly configured external battery cabinet, users can select different battery capacities to achieve different backup runtimes. For example, a smaller battery system can be used when only short-term backup is required, while a larger battery bank can be selected for applications that need extended power protection. Actual battery quantity and capacity should be selected according to the UPS charging system, load requirements and required runtime.

The 192V battery system provides a suitable DC power architecture for this class of UPS. During normal operation, the online UPS continuously conditions incoming power through its conversion system and provides stable output power to connected equipment. When utility power fails or becomes abnormal, the UPS switches to battery operation to maintain continuous power for critical loads.
